Achievements

  • Successfully project managed the purchase, conversion and running of our own complementary health business - The Nightingale Clinic
  • Performed analysis and design for converting a client-server, MS Access-based HR and Payroll system to a fully Internet-based architecture, including designing and building Crystal reports.
  • Created the overall specification for a major set of enhancements and additions to the core Scoot order processing and delivery mechanisms to support the launch of a revised product-offering package, inside a very aggressive timeline. Performed analysis, documentation, training and testing, with liaison at all levels from CEO to user.
  • Designed and coded the workflow functionality to enable pan-European Lead Management and Tracking for IBM, based on business process guidelines. Performed on-site installation and customisation at several European Direct Marketing Call Centres, and provided instruction to local support personnel. Trained over 150 users in the UK, produced associated documentation, successfully executed roll-out and provide ongoing support.
  • Developed a literature fulfilment solution for IBM UK's Customer Response Centre (CRC) which eliminated the loss of customer requests. This reversed a 20% drop in customer satisfaction and was extended to cover over 300 users in the Sales and Marketing teams.

Interests

Member of the Ceroc Teachers Association. Each week, teach approx. 150 people how to dance this modern French jive.

Joint owner/manager of The Nightingale Clinic. This is a complementary health clinic that my wife and I own and manage. I look after the finances and administration, as well as maintaining the website.
