More About Me

Well, seeing as you followed a link to get here I presume you want to know more. In other words, if you don't want to be reading this and are, then you only have yourself to blame. That especially applies if you want to look at these pictures of me on my own or with Jenny (see below)! If you're really masochistic, you can even see my dad's last corporate photo...or even hard at work - NOT!!

Basically, there are seven main things in my life (kind of in order of importance!):

Follow the links above or just browse... :-)

Hobbies & Interests

My Wife

Picture of Jenny

Jenny Mullan (neé Rebeiro). Five foot and half, long dark hair, a very good dancer - and now...my wife!!

I met Jenny at Ceroc dance in Beford Corn Exchange on the 3rd October 1997. We have been seeing each other since New Year 1998, we got engaged in Paris on 3rd October 1998 and married in All Saints Parish Church, Earls Barton on 14th August 1999. We've even got some pictures of the happy event.

If you can stomach it :-), there are also some general pictures of us together and of us on holiday in Florida in 1998, where we went to swim with dolphins...

You can see a lovely picture of Jenny in a sari, which she wore on a visit to the local Hindu temple for their nine days of dancing celebrations. I think she looks stunning - judge for yourself.

After much persuasion, Jenny finally took the flying lesson I bought her for her birthday. If you want to see the pictures, click here.

Our Baby

Yes, in case you hadn't heard, we're expecting to be a Mummy and Daddy for the second time! Jenny gave birth to Joseph Alexander Mullan on 22 July 2002, and is expecting our next one in May 2005.

You can see the latest pictures and news here.

Our Faith

Both Jenny and I declared as Bahá'ís on 13th November 1999. To find out more about the Bahá'í faith, check out the Northamptonshire Bahá'í page. Also, Jenny and I both sing in the Northamptonshire Bahá'í Choir, which we love!

The Nightingale Clinic

As some of you may know, Jenny is a qualified reflexologist, hypnotherapist and HypnoBirthing instructor, having escaped the teaching profession in June 2000. Mad fools that we are, we decided it would be a good idea to open a complementary health clinic of our own (whilst Jenny was pregnant!).

After some hiccups and delays, we completed the purchase of the building in our village on 16th May 2002 and opened our doors on the 20th June 2002 - a mere five weeks from start to finish. Things are going really well, and we're very pleased so far.

If you're interested, check out the Nightingale Clinic website for more details.

Ceroc

Well, anyone who knows me (or has seen the front page) will be aware that I am passionately interested in a form of French Jive called Ceroc. If you don't know what that is, think "American GI jive" crossed with "Dirty Dancing" and you're getting the gist.

I shan't bore you with it any further except to say I think it's absolutely wonderful, I have now been teaching it since January 1998, as a member of the Ceroc Teachers Association, I wouldn't miss it for the world and if you want to know more look at my Ceroc page or follow some of my Links. If you already know what it is and want to know where to learn then look at the official Ceroc Central website, as I no longer maintain these pages.

My Guitar

It's an Applause bowl-back electro-acoustic that I got for my 18th birthday and I love it. I play mainly blues, rock & pop but occasionally dabble in classical (what I started with) and even write my own songs sometimes. Don't practice as much as I should/would like but hey...
